Freeze-dried red currants 30 g

Freeze-dried pieces of whole fragrant red currants. Beautiful smell, taste and color. They are crunchy as a healthy substitute for chips. They are also suitable for flavoring porridges and muesli. You can use them in confectionery, e.g. into whipped creams, fillings, where after a while they absorb the liquid and thus flavor the creams with their color and the penetrating aroma of fresh fruit, but you can also use them to decorate desserts as a tasty decoration.

Red currants are rich in vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and minerals such as calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, potassium. It improves the condition of vascular walls and vision.

Store currants in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25°C and a relative humidity of up to 65%. After opening and not consuming the entire contents, we recommend closing the bag carefully. This will prevent the fruit from getting wet.

Freeze-drying is a process in which the fruit is flash-frozen and then the frozen water inside the fruit is evaporated. Thanks to this special procedure, the fruit maintains the properties of its fresh form without any added substances. Its volume, color, texture and taste remain, as well as the maximum content of vitamins and minerals, which would be destroyed by heat drying. In addition, it is wonderfully crunchy!
