Policy on the use of COOKIES files

What are cookies?

As is common practice on almost all professional websites, this site uses cookies, which are small files downloaded to your computer or mobile phone in order to improve the services provided. This page describes what information we collect, how we use it and why we sometimes need to save these files. We will also provide information on how you can prevent the storage of cookies, which may impair or "break" certain elements of the functionality of this website. For more general information about cookies, see the Wikipedia article on HTTP cookies.

We recognize several types of cookies, according to:

  • In terms of time : temporary (session cookies) - they are stored only temporarily and after closing the browser they are deleted from the user's device and permanent - they remain stored until we delete them or until our browser deletes them, depending on the expiration date of the cookie file
  • from the point of view of the subject : own - cookies created by the operator of the page that the user has just visited, the so-called first-party and third-party cookies - cookies were created by an entity that does not operate the website that the user has just visited. Third-party cookies are cookies that are placed on the Data Subject's device by another entity when using the Operator's website. Third-party cookies may be placed on this person's device by someone who provides a service to the Operator (for example, Google Analytics, Google Double Click and Google Tag Manager). Third parties do not have access to data in the Operator's cookie files, and the Operator also does not have access to third-party cookies.
  • from the point of view of the legal basis for processing personal data : cookies for which the consent of the site visitor is not required - for example, necessary, so-called technical cookies and cookies for which the site visitor's consent is required - for example analytical and advertising cookies).

Technical cookies:

  • cookies for user input – consistent monitoring of user input in a series of message exchanges with the service provider (Operator),
  • authentication cookies – user identification after logging in,
  • cookies aimed at user security - increasing the security of the service; login system protection; detecting incorrect login attempts,

Third party cookies:

  • Analytical cookies : measurement of website traffic, campaigns, monitors site traffic by users,
  • Analytical cookies : identification of the first session of a new user; the so-called unique visits,
  • Marketing cookies:
    • tracking pixels - tracking user behavior, conversions on pages, optimization of ads, etc.,
    • advertising cookies – storage of a unique ID that identifies the device of the returning visitor for use in targeting advertising,
    • cookies for tracking the user through additional modules of social networks,
    • cookies for advertisements by third parties – behavioral advertising
  • Cookie bar: a window that appears after visiting the website and requires you to allow or reject cookies

Why we use cookies:
We use cookies for various reasons, which are listed below. In most cases, unfortunately, there are no standardized ways to disable cookies without completely blocking the functionality and features they provide to this site. It is recommended that you leave all cookies enabled if you are not sure whether you need them or not, in case they are used to provide the service you are using.

How can the use of cookies be set and disabled?

When visiting the Operator's website for the first time, only absolutely necessary cookies are stored on the Data Subject's device. When visiting websites, a pop-up window is displayed to the affected person, or cookies bar, with a message warning about the use of cookies. Unless the person concerned accepts/allows all cookies or selects individual preferences for cookies, this setting will not change.

By clicking on the appropriate button in the pop-up window, or on the cookies bar, the person concerned acknowledges the use of necessary cookies by the Operator in the manner described in these principles. In relation to all other types of cookies that the Operator uses, it applies that these will not be stored in the device of the Affected Person, unless the Affected Person gives consent to their use, which can be revoked at any time. Data about the Affected Person obtained through cookies are thus obtained voluntarily, directly from the Affected Person.

After setting the relevant preferences, each affected person can manage cookies in their internet browser. Different Internet browsers have different procedures for disabling or enabling cookies, which are usually found in the menu labeled "Options" or "Tools". Directly in the Internet browser, the Data Subject has the opportunity to manage cookies related to basic functions, improvement of the website, customization and advertising. For the functionality of the new setting on the part of the Affected Person, it will probably be necessary to update the loading of the website. In the case of turning off or opting out of the use of some cookies, the website of the Operator will no longer access or read these cookie files.

Various files, scripts, codes, or other information related to cookie files may continue to be stored in the device. These can be removed by the Affected Person by deleting the cookies and cache of the Internet browser using the settings of the given browser, while any change to the browser settings applies only to this particular Internet browser.

The website http://www.allaboutcookies.org / provides comprehensive information on adjusting cookie settings in a range of internet browsers. The operator points out that since he is neither the owner nor the operator of this website, he is not responsible for its content.

The operator also warns that if necessary cookies (or all cookies) are disabled using the Internet browser settings, one or more basic functions of the website, including those intended to ensure a safe visit, will not work correctly or at all.

The operator further warns that if the affected person refuses or withdraws consent to the use of any non-necessary cookies or personal data, the corresponding function or function of these websites may not work correctly or at all. The use of basic functions and the functionality of the website will not be affected by this.

Cookies on these pages are used for the following purposes:

Necessary cookies are cookies without which the Operator's website would not function properly and which are automatically placed on the Data Subject's device and cannot be turned off. Necessary cookies cannot identify the user and are used only for the purpose of guaranteeing the correct display of the website.

Functional cookies are used for the Operator to be able to identify the Data Subject when returning to its website and help to improve the functionality and security of the website, including remembering the Data Subject's preferences and managing website performance.

Use of IP address and other tools on the website:

Third-party tools that use the IP address of the Person concerned and/or cookie files may also be placed on these websites.

Such a tool can be e.g. Facebook plugin, which connects the affected person with their profile on the Facebook social network, while more information about its use is provided on the following pages: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ ;
