Ingredients
Light sponge cake
Orange sponge cake
Syrup
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 bag of LianaVIT orange
  • 75 g of sugar
  • 100 ml of rum or a few drops of punch aroma
Frosting
  • ½ bag of LianaVIT orange
  • 5 PL lukewarm water
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 KL oil

1. Beat stiff snow from egg whites. Beat the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Add warm water, oil and finally flour mixed with Golden Cream and Raising Powder. Bake at 175°C for 20-25 minutes. Similarly, prepare an orange sponge cake by beating the egg yolks with orange LianaVIT and 1 tbsp of granulated sugar. The rest as with the light sponge cake. Bake at 175°C for 20-25 minutes.

2. Boil water and sugar for the syrup and let it cool. Add LianaVIT orange and rum or rum flavor to lukewarm water.

3. Cut the light sponge cake in half. Spread jam on the bottom light layer, add an orange layer and cover with syrup. Spread the jam again and add the second light sheet.

4. For the glaze, dissolve LianaVIT orange in lukewarm water, add powdered sugar and oil. If necessary, add another 1-2 tablespoons of water. Pour the glaze on the surface of the cake and spread it with a hot knife. Let it harden and we can serve.

A good tip:
We prepare the gluten-free version of the recipe by substituting semi-coarse flour in the light sponge cake for 8 tablespoons Liana cake mix and omitting the Liana baking powder, and in the orange sponge cake for 6 tablespoons Liana cake mix also without the Liana baking powder.

Good tip 2:
We can also prepare the dessert in other tasty versions, if we replace LianaVIT with raspberry, lemon or cola.
