Confectioner's glycerin is used to soften the coating material, improves the structure and flexibility of homemade fondant, softens creams, caramel, prevents drying of buttercream and crystallization of sugar. After adding a few teaspoons of glycerin to the dough, your cake will stay fresh longer. Glycerin is derived from oil and is an ingredient capable of retaining and attracting moisture. A few teaspoons of this product will be a welcome addition to many of your baking recipes!
