Juicy bun made of soft gluten-free Christmas cake according to our recipe.
Ingredients

Dip mix

  • 4 egg whites
  • 200 g granulated sugar

  1. Season the grated apples with cinnamon sugar according to your own taste.
  2. Mix the cottage cheese with the egg, vanilla and granulated sugar and lemon glaze.
  3. Mix the egg yolks in the milk and sweeten to taste.
  4. Dip the sliced Christmas tree in the milk mixture and place in the mold in layers: Christmas tree, apples, Christmas tree, cheese filling and finally Christmas tree.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  6. While the bun is baking, whip stiff snow from egg whites and sugar.
  7. Put the snow on the bun and bake at 160°C until golden.

You can find the recipe for Gluten-free Christmas by clicking here . Our bun was baked a week in advance, then frozen. We took juz out of the freezer the day before preparing the bun.

Good tip 2.:
To keep the bun more moist, we will use a form with a solid bottom.
