With our Gelírka Liana it will be quick, no long standing by the stove. You don't have to worry that by adding Želírka, your jam will no longer be homemade. On the contrary, the jam will retain the distinct taste of the fruit and valuable substances, because it is not cooked for an unnecessarily long time, and at the same time, our Gelirka contains pectin from fruits such as apples and citrus, and these will cause the jam to thicken faster.

  1. Pit the washed cherries. Mix so that pieces of cherries remain. Pour ½ bag of Želírka Liana into a bowl, take 2 tablespoons from 250 g of sugar and add to Želírka Liana. Pour into the mixed cherries and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  2. For better taste and color, add 1 KL Liana citric acid. Pour the remaining sugar and mix for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove the foam from the surface. Pour the still hot jam into jars. Close and turn upside down until cool.

A good tip:
In the case of overripe cherries, add a pinch of Liana sorbic acid .
