How we revealed our secret in the kitchen

The beginning of April 2019 was very interesting for our company. We collaborated with RTVS with the show Secret of my kitchen. The kitchens were dominated by our gluten-free mixes , from which we prepared delicious recipes. The feedback from you, the customers, has been amazing. On social networks, you overwhelmed us with nice comments and photos of how we inspired you with recipes to prepare them. After each aired episode, we announced a competition for our products on our Facebook profile FOOD PRODUCTION LIANA , where a large number of you participated. We are very pleased that there is interest in Liana products.

In the May part, our colleague Mery also tried her hand at performing and baking in front of the cameras, who bakes amazing desserts in her spare time (and outside of it :-)). An example is the Torta with light foam and marble mirror frosting, which she prepared with ease in the session. All in all it was a good experience and a great experience to watch the filming from behind the scenes. Before the filming itself, there were hours of choosing the best recipes and products, with which we wanted to highlight the family company LIANA, as well as the team of workers who make sure every day that quality and tradition are delivered in each product. And so we have prepared these recipes for you.

The first shooting was in a sweet spirit. Mrs. Razija Trnačevič used Kypriaci powder for Liana's pastries when preparing O drink chestnut glasses (by the way, Mrs. Magálova really liked the visual of Kypriaci powder, which shows a woman in costume. That it is so typical Slovakian. And since we are based in the village of Raslavice, which has folklore in the blood for many years, we couldn't even imagine another visual) and Cocoa Dark Liana. And we don't even have to write that it was a pleasure on the tongue...

We started April gluten-free with the immediately popular Slovak dish Gluten-free pirogi, which Dagmar Valouchová filled with meat and cheese. Even those of you who sent photos made famous pirogues from the flour gluten-free mixture Universal mix Liana , and you saved the recipe as a favorite.

Many of you are troubled by leavened dough. And especially working with gluten-free sourdough is different from classic. Therefore, the choice of our next recipe couldn't be any other than preparing you a gluten-free cocoa strudel. The specialty of this strudel is the filling, which is not cooked. Simply mix the custard powder, cocoa and sugar in a bowl and spread it on the oiled dough. In addition to the cocoa strudel, we managed to prepare a leavened fruit cake from the universal sourdough. And the result is like this...

The last filming that Dáška completed with us was when baking gluten-free whole grain baguettes. They are so excellent that we had to include the recipe in the Liana Calendar 2020. By mixing the light bread mix Bread mix white and the dark bread mix with buckwheat Bread mix dark , baguettes were created that will strengthen you in the form of breakfast, you can take them in your backpack on a trip or as a side dish to salads. You can also try them like we did with bear garlic spread. But we don't take responsibility for the fact that you won't be able to finish them :) This is where our TV journey with Daška ended, but we stayed in touch even after filming. She visited our stand at the gluten-free exhibition in Prague and was so sweet that she helped us out of her own free will for a few hours without being entitled to a fee :D

Mrs. Kamila Magálová also tried her hand at our exclusive puddings. She baked a simple, yet excellent pudding cake. Our clinkers are coming together again.

The above-mentioned colleague Mery finished the television appearance with her cake, which at first glance is complicated due to the number of ingredients in the recipe, but not so difficult to prepare. For Mery, every recipe is a piece of cake, and we especially appreciate her imagination and passion for her work. She honestly prepared every day for appearing on television, every day she polished the details in order to represent Liana in the best possible light. And we thank her for that, and we also thank her for the courage to step out of her comfort zone and demonstrate her culinary skills in front of Slovakia.
